History

Founded in 1900 by Jakob Keck, in Pirmasens, Germany, our company first specialised in the production of wax for parquet floors and shoe polish.

A place in history

Throughout the 20th century, Keck Chimie developed, as methods, materials and fashion evolved, a wide range of high-quality chemical products for the footwear and leather goods sectors.

Our expertise transcends time as well as borders: given the scope of international demand, our Spanish subsidiary was founded in Alicante in 1975, and inour French subsidiary in Ingwiller in 1980. This was at the same time as the opening of a branch in Cholet, with a workshop dedicated to consolidating our excellence in producing paints.

A rich heritage

Building on this rich heritage, Keck Chimie has diversified into two new sectors: theautomotive industry (paints, adhesives and pastes) and foams (adhesives and release agents). More than a century of experience, for a constant quality.
